The Holly History & Genealogy Center is a depository for local history books, documents, photos, maps, family histories, manuscripts, and other items relating to Waupaca and the surrounding area.
Open to the Public
Wednesday & Friday:
Noon to 3:00 p.m. (September - May)
Noon to 4:00 p.m. (June - August)
Saturday:
9:00 a.m. to noon (June - August)
The Center will also open by special appointment at other times if arranged two weeks in advance of your visit and if volunteer staff is available. If you are traveling to Waupaca from out of town, we recommend that you call the week before your visit to verify that the Center will be open. The Center may be closed on holidays or for unexpected illnesses or emergencies for staff or volunteers.
We offer group tours by appointment. Please call (715) 256-9980.
SPECIAL NOTICE: Due to the Road Construction project on South Main Street, visitors are asked to approach the Holly History Center from the east / Jefferson St. and park on Deer Street, the side street that is adjacent to the Holly History Center. Please see the "Map of Waupaca" that can be found under the "About Us" tab on our homepage, or call 715-256-9980 for more information. The Holly History & Genealogy Center will be open to the public as stated above.
The Cynthia Holly Meeting Room in the lower level is available for meetings, reunions, parties, and other events. Please contact the historical society for rates and availability
